§ 42-6. Parking prohibited on streets.

  • (a)

    It shall be unlawful for any owner or operator of any motor vehicle or other vehicle to park the vehicle on any street within the village, in such a manner as to leave any part of the vehicle on, or encroaching over, the regularly traveled portion of the street.

    (b)

    A commercial or private vehicle is exempt from this section when its operator is engaged in loading and unloading cargo and there are no off-street facilities for the purpose of loading and unloading of cargo. The vehicle shall remain exempt during the duration of the loading or unloading of the cargo. Thereafter, this section shall have full force and affect as to said vehicle.
