§ 28-149. False imprisonment.

  • (a)

    The term "false imprisonment" means the intentional confinement or detention of another, without his consent, without proper legal authority, and when not armed with a dangerous weapon.

    (b)

    Whoever commits false imprisonment shall be fined not more than $200.00, or imprisoned for not more than 60 days, or both.
