§ 14-22. Notice to remove.

  • The mayor shall provide written notice to remove junk as hereinafter provided:

    (1)

    If the owner is known, the mayor shall send to the owner of the junk a written notice requiring the owner to comply with the provisions of this article within 15 days from the date of the receipt thereof. The notice shall be posted by certified mail, with return receipt requested.

    (2)

    If the owner is not known, the mayor shall have a dated, written notice placed on or near the junk itself requiring the owner to comply with the provisions of this chapter within 15 days from the date of the notice.
