§ 4-10. Closing hours; consumption hours.

  • (a)

    No holder of a permit issued under this chapter and no servant, agent, or employee of such permittee shall sell, use, consume, giveaway or otherwise dispose of any alcoholic beverage, whether by cash, open account, credit, or club membership dues, between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. on the same day.

    (b)

    No permitted premises shall remain open after 2:00 a.m. nor re-open any earlier than 6:00 a.m. the same day.

    (c)

    Whoever violates this section, upon conviction, shall be fined not more than $100.00 or be imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both, and, if a permittee, the permit may be revoked in accordance with law.

    (d)

    An organization or club which has as its primary purpose philanthropic or charitable causes is exempt from this section.
