§ 44-22. Delinquent bills, re-connection; penalty.

  • (a)

    All charges for services rendered to a customer, other than an irregular customer, shall be deemed delinquent on the 30th day after the billing date.

    (b)

    A penalty will be due on all accounts which are delinquent and an additional fee will be due for each month on the balance due, or any part thereof, up to three months.

    (c)

    After an account is delinquent, a notice shall be sent to the customer, via certified mail, and after receipt thereof and subsequent to the passage of the third month in which the account is not paid in full, the service to the delinquent customer shall be discontinued.

    (d)

    In the event there exists an unpaid balance for water usage at a particular rental residence, service shall not be reconnected until all past due amounts are paid.
