§ 32-2. Hours of work.

(a)

Established hours. Municipal employees will normally perform their duties during hours established by the mayor.

(b)

Authorized overtime. If it shall prove necessary for employees to work beyond the hours established for the standard work day, the mayor or authorized department head may authorize overtime work. Notwithstanding section 32-3, all overtime provisions shall be handled in accordance with applicable federal or state law.
