§ 30-21. Rules.

The following rules shall apply to and within any playground area within the village:

(1)

Disturbing the peace and foul language on park property or in any facility thereon is prohibited.

(2)

Glass containers are prohibited on park property.

(3)

Campfires are prohibited, except in authorized designated areas.

(4)

No animal is permitted in the park, except when on a leash.

(5)

No alcoholic beverage shall be brought into or consumed on park property unless a permit is obtained from the executive director of the parish parks and recreation district.

(6)

Littering on park property is prohibited.

(7)

No motorized vehicle is permitted on park property, except in designated parking lots and road areas.

(8)

Speeding in a motor vehicle is prohibited. The speed limit of ten miles per hour is established within any recreational area.

Firearms are prohibited.
