§ 28-242. Unlawful purchase of alcoholic beverages by persons on behalf of persons under 21 years of age.

(a)

It is unlawful for any person, other than a parent, spouse, or legal custodian as specified in subsection (1)(b) of the definition of "public possession in section 28-239, to purchase on behalf of a person under 21 years of age any alcoholic beverage.

(b)

Whoever violates this section shall be fined not more than $500.00, or imprisoned for not more than 30 days, or both.
