§ 28-293. Indecent exposure.

  • (a)

    As used in this section, the term "indecent exposure" means the display in public view of the genitals, pubic hair, anus of either sex, vulva, or female breast nipples with the intent of arousing prurient or sexual interest.

    (b)

    It shall be unlawful for any person to intentionally expose his or her genitals, pubic hair, anus, vulva, or female breast nipples in any location or place open to the view of the public or the people at large such as a street, highway, neutral ground, sidewalk, park, bayou bank, or other place or location viewable therefrom with the intent of arousing prurient or sexual interest.

    (c)

    Any person convicted of violating this section shall be fined not less than $100.00 nor more than $300.00, imprisoned for not less than ten days nor more than 30 days, or both.
