§ 1-13. Corporate limits established.

(a)

The corporate limits of the village include all annexations made through and including the date of adoption of this Code.

(b)

Per ordinance adopted on October 11, 1984, the corporate limits of the village are as follows:

Beginning at a point on section line between sections 34 and 35, T7S, R10E, in the Parish of Iberville, State of Louisiana, which is designated as Point "A" and is 630 feet along said section line northeast from the left descending bank of Bayou Grosse Tete. Said Point "A" being the point of beginning and the corner of the existing corporate limit.

Thence proceed southerly along a line parallel to Bayou Grosse Tete and 630 feet North and east of the left descending bank of said Bayou Grosse Tete to Point "B" which is 630 feet South of the centerline of the Texas and Pacific Railroad and 630 feet east of the left descending bank of Bayou Grosse Tete and corner.

Thence proceed northerly along a line parallel to the Texas and Pacific Railroad and 630 south and west to the centerline of said Texas and Pacific Railroad to Point "C" which is located on the southern boundary of Bellevue Plantation, and corner.

Thence northeasterly along the southern boundary of Bellevue Plantation to the intersection of the northern right-of-way of the Texas and Pacific Railroad which is Point "D."

Thence northwesterly along said railroad right-of-way to the intersection of common section line between sections 40 and 41 which is Point "E."

Thence in a northeasterly direction along common section line between sections 40 and 41 to the intersection with the existing corporate boundary line for the Village of Rosedale which is Point "F."

Thence along the existing Village of Rosedale corporate boundary in a southwesterly direction to Point "G" which is the common intersection of the existing corporate limits for the Village of Grosse Tete and the existing corporate limits for the Village of Rosedale and also on the section line between section 38 and section 39, T7S, R10E.

Thence in a northeasterly direction back to Point "A" which is the point of beginning.
